Welcome to SCSPortal, the Web-Based Smart Grade Portal of Silang Central School. By accessing or using SCSPortal, you agree to follow these Terms and Conditions.

1. Purpose of SCSPortal

SCSPortal is designed to support the management and monitoring of student academic information, including grades, academic performance, progress monitoring, performance analytics, early warning indicators, and other school-related services.

2. Authorized Use

SCSPortal is intended only for authorized teachers, parents/guardians, administrators, and other school personnel.

Each user may only access the features and information assigned to their role. Users must not access information that they are not authorized to view or manage.

3. Account Security

Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential. Users must not share their accounts or passwords with others or attempt to access another user's account.

Any suspected unauthorized access or suspicious activity should be reported immediately to the SCSPortal administrator or appropriate school personnel.

4. Student Information and Grades

SCSPortal may contain confidential student information, including:

• Student name
• Learner Reference Number (LRN)
• Grade level and section
• Grades and academic records
• Academic performance information
• Parent/guardian information

This information must only be accessed and used for legitimate school-related purposes.

Users must not modify, copy, distribute, or disclose student information or grades without proper authorization. Parents or guardians may only access information belonging to their authorized child or ward.

5. Accuracy of Information

Teachers and authorized school personnel are responsible for entering accurate information into SCSPortal.

If incorrect student information or grades are found, users should report the issue to the appropriate teacher or school personnel for verification and correction.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

SCSPortal may collect and process personal information necessary for legitimate school-related purposes.

Personal information shall be handled and protected in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012), where applicable.

Users may refer to the SCSPortal Privacy Notice for additional information regarding the collection, use, protection, and rights concerning personal information.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• Access information without authorization.
• Share confidential student information without permission.
• Manipulate or delete academic records without authorization.
• Upload malicious files or attempt to damage the system.
• Bypass or disable system security measures.
• Use SCSPortal for illegal or unauthorized activities.

8. System Availability

SCSPortal may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical problems, security concerns, or other circumstances beyond the school's control.

The school may temporarily restrict access when necessary to maintain, secure, or improve the system.

9. Account Suspension

Silang Central School may suspend or restrict an account when necessary, including cases involving unauthorized access, security concerns, or violations of these Terms and Conditions.

10. Changes to These Terms

Silang Central School may update these Terms and Conditions when necessary. Users may be required to review and accept updated Terms before continuing to use SCSPortal.
